Sooraj S Kumar is a passionate Carnatic musician, actively performing in the field through Carnatic concerts, unplugged solo performances, and collaborative musical projects. With a strong foundation in classical music and a deep commitment to artistic excellence, he brings both tradition and creativity to every stage.

He holds an M.Phil. and M.A. in Indian Music from the University of Madras, Chennai, securing Second Rank with a Gold Medal.

Further enriching his expertise, Sooraj has completed a Certificate Course in Voice Training from the University of Madras under the guidance of renowned voxologist Dr. Shyamala Vinod, enhancing his understanding of vocal techniques and pedagogy.

With 3 years of professional teaching experience and over 7 years of teaching experience in private classes, he has trained numerous students, nurturing their musical abilities with a structured and personalized approach.
