Udana Chathuranga holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Special) in Western Music from the University of the Visual and Performing Arts, Sri Lanka. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Colombo and worked as a Western Music teacher under the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka for 6 years (2017-2024).

Udana has ABRSM certifications in Violin (Grade 5) and Theory of Music (Grade 5), along with a Grade 7 certification in Theory of Music from Trinity College London. He is also a professional violinist, vocalist, and freelance musician in Sri Lanka.
